You aren’t imposing on your neighbours, friends or relatives.

Your home is safe, secure and checked daily by a fully-insured professional.

Your elderly or medicated cats are cared for by specialists.

How much do you charge for cat sitting?

Regular bookings: £22.50 per call

Short notice bookings: £27 per call

Bank Holiday bookings: £27 per call

Short notice Bank Holiday bookings: £30 per call, if available.

Festive season bookings: £30 per call. Booking before November recommended.

Full payment is due 30 days before the first booked visit, and is not refundable.

How do I book you cat sitting service?

Email us at hello@mycatpeople.co.uk. We only take bookings in writing, via email.

Please put your surname, postcode and requested dates in the subject box.

In the main part of your email, please tell us who you are, when you’ll be away, and if you have any specific queries not covered in this website.

For your initial registration, we’ll arrange a suitable time for either Laura or Jane M to come to your house to meet you, meet your cats, fill out the paperwork, plus test and collect your keys. We try to arrange the registration visits for weekday afternoons or weekday evenings. This visit usually takes about 30 minutes.

Registration is £25.

Once you are registered, any further bookings can be made via email with sufficient notice.

Keys: All keys you give us must be a spare set. 99% of clients book regularly and leave their keys with us for our mutual convenience. However we are not a key holding or emergency service so you can’t call us if you lock yourself out! Please make sure you always have spares somewhere else.

If you ask for your keys to be returned, we are happy to do so, but we do make a charge for further collections, and we need to have keys in our possession at least 7 days before the start of any booking.

We will answer your email as soon as we can, but please bear in mind that our evenings and weekends are Family time, as yours are.

Weekend staff cover weekend visits, but they don’t do admin.

Jane covers admin Monday – Friday, but likes to take a break from it at weekends! She checks daily at weekends for emergencies, but do please bear in mind that if you send a booking email late on a Friday or over the weekend, you wont receive a reply until Monday. Please don’t panic!
